How will RSENSE overcome these challenges?

RSENSE overcomes these issues mainly by using optoacoustics sensors (OA) with unique features that enable sPROPT application to flow systems, which is far limited for other applications. Furthermore, RSENSE proposes to go well beyond the state-of-the-art of current sensing by a new class of sensors that merge:

  • advanced data analytics that can integrate also other information with

  • the unique biological, metabolic and environmental parameters measured, not available to any other non-invasive sensor today (see Why do we need this new technology?), and the potential to offer

  • quantitative assessment of disease and environmental parameters using a simple single-point, non-invasive 1 second measurement

Finally, RSENSE will propose with sPROPT the world’s smallest, low-cost optoacoustic sensor, while retaining high sensitivity in the future. RSENSE consortium combines the novel source and detection technology with an innovative design acoustic cavity to boost sensitivity for the simultaneous detection of multiple particles.
